AACIA GRADUATE STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP
The Arkansas Association of Curriculum & Instruction Administrators is accepting applications for one scholarship in the amount of $1,000 to an individual in a graduate program focusing on Curriculum Administration. Recipients from the previous year are not eligible. This could change at the board's discretion if not qualified applicants apply. The AACIA Scholarship Committee will review the application. Scholarships will be awarded in person at the AAEA Summer Conference Awards Luncheon.

AACIA GRADUATING SENIOR SCHOLARSHIP

AACTEA SCHOLARSHIP
The Arkansas Association of Career and Technical Education Administrators (AACTEA) is offering scholarships to high school seniors to supplement education costs during their freshman year. The scholarship awards are $750 each and will be awarded to full-time or part-time students who enroll in an Arkansas college or university, including junior colleges, community colleges, and vocational/technical colleges.
Eligibility requirements include:
Concentrator or Completer status on at least one Program of Study
Having a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 grading scale
Exhibiting a good citizenship record with no suspensions or expulsions
Attempted or achieved an industry certification (ex CRC, OSHA, MTA)
Planning to major in a demand occupation (listed on Discover Arkansas)

AAESP GRADUATE STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP
One scholarship will be awarded for graduate study related to Elementary Administration. The total amount awarded to the recipient of the scholarship is $1,000. The scholarship application will be due April 1, 2024, and will be awarded on or before May 1, 2024. Recipients from the previous year are not eligible. This could change at the board's discretion if no qualified applicants apply. The AAESP Scholarship Committee will review the applications.

AAESP GRADUATING SENIOR SCHOLARSHIP
Up to two scholarships will be awarded to a student of an AAEA member pursuing the field of education. The total amount awarded to the recipient of the scholarship is $1,000. Send completed applications, including all required signatures, to Rachel Blocker at r.blocker@theaaea.org, or by mail to Rachel's attention at: AAEA, 219 S. Victory Street, Little Rock, AR 72201. The application must be submitted no later than April 1, 2024. The scholarship winner will be notified on or before May 1, 2024.

AAFC SCHOLARSHIP
The Arkansas Association of Federal Coordinators (AAFC) awards the AAFC Scholarship to high school seniors of AAFC members to supplement college costs beginning their freshman year. This scholarship award is $1,000 for the first academic year, and will be awarded to full-time students who enroll in an Arkansas College or University, including junior colleges, community and vocational or technical colleges, and plan to major in education.
Eligibility requirements include:
Completing eight (8) consecutive semesters of high school or remaining in high school until graduation requirements are met
Having a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 grading scale
Exhibiting a good citizenship record with no suspensions or expulsions
Participating in service or academic organizations or extracurricular activities
Planning to major in the field of education

AAGEA SCHOLARSHIP
Are you currently working on your graduate degree in gifted education and administration? The Arkansas Association of Gifted Education Administrators is currently accepting scholarship applications for individuals pursuing their graduate degree in gifted education and administration or related fields. Two scholarship awards will be presented during the AAEA Summer Conference in Little Rock.

AAMLA SCHOLARSHIP
Up to three scholarships will be awarded for graduate study related to Educational Administration, or other related fields in Educational Leadership. The total amount awarded to the recipient(s) of the scholarship(s) is the cost of graduate hours including tuition and associated fees totaling up to, but not to exceed $1,500. The scholarship will be a reimbursement. Award winners will present an invoice to AAEA Executive Director, Dr. Mike Hernandez, for approval. The scholarship application will be due on May 1st of each calendar year. The scholarship will expire one year after the award date, if not used. The scholarship may be used for any part of the previous academic year. Recipients from the previous year are not eligible. This could change at the board’s discretion if no qualified applicants apply. A group of AAMLA Board Members will review the applications. Personal interviews may take place if clarification is needed. Scholarships will be awarded in person or by phone call.

AASBO MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
The Arkansas Association of School Business Officials (AASBO) is offering a scholarships to high school seniors that are students of an AASBO member. Recipients may renew the scholarship for an additional year upon application. Scholarship are available for a total of 4 years. The total amount awarded to the recipient of the scholarship is $1,000.
The 2023 scholarship winners include Audrey Saunders, Benton School District; Olivia Locke, Jonesboro School District; Tyler Golden, Malvern School District; Riley Whiteaker, Calico Rock School District. The 2023 scholarship renewals were granted to Brooklyn Waller, Caylee Ciesla, Charles Davis, Claire Brown, Ginny Higginbotham, Hunter Goad, Kelli Stain, Lauren Futrell, Lauren Golden, Loryn Hendrix, and Tristan Richards.

AASEA LEGACY SCHOLARSHIP
AASEA Legacy Scholarship applicants should have a family member who is a member of AASEA.
Scholarships are awarded for undergraduate junior, senior, or graduate students studying in fields related to the delivery of services to children with special needs and/or to those who have a disability for which he or she has received services. Consideration will be given for the areas of K-12 Special Education, Early Childhood Special Education, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Special Education Supervision and Administration or other related fields at the AASEA Scholarship committee’s discretion. Consideration will be given to persons employed or planning to be employed by school districts or educational cooperatives in Arkansas.

The total amount awarded to the recipient of the scholarship is $1,000. The scholarship money will be issued after classes begin in the fall semester. A record of tuition payment should be submitted to Dr. Hernandez and then a check for the amount of scholarship will be issued/mailed to the student. The scholarship application will be due on May 1st of each calendar year. The scholarship will expire one year after the award date, if not used. The scholarship may not be used for any part of the previous academic year. A group of AASSP Board Members will review the applications. Personal interviews may take place if clarification is needed.

ASPMA SCHOLARSHIP
The Arkansas School Plant Management Association (ASPMA) seeks to promote the continuation of education by offering scholarships to students in search of a vocational, associate or bachelor’s degree.
Any graduating high school senior is eligible to apply for a scholarship. Over $20,000 in scholarships were awarded last year to deserving students across the state. The scholarship amount given to any one student is at the discretion of the scholarship committee but this amount shall not exceed $5,000. Awarded scholarships are eligible for renewal if funds are available. The scholarship payment shall be made directly to the student to assist them with their educational expenses.

C.B. GARRISON SCHOLARSHIP
The Arkansas Association of Educational Administrators has awarded a $1,000 scholarship to a son or daughter of an AAEA member. This scholarship was established in honor of Dr. C. B. Garrison, former Superintendent of the Fort Smith Public Schools.
Selection is based on academic excellence, leadership in school activities, work experiences and community service. The application and additional information is available in here.

DR. KELLAR F. NOGGLE ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP
Dr. Kellar Noggle served as the Executive Director of the Arkansas Association of Educational Administrators from 1976-2005. Prior to 1976, Dr. Noggle contributed 15 years of educational service to the children of Arkansas.
As a tribute to Dr. Noggle's outstanding leadership and to honor his long-standing relationship with the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, an endowed scholarship was established in his name.

GARY L. KEES MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
For 49 years, Gary L. Kees was dedicated to improving the public education system in the state of Arkansas. As a tribute to Mr. Kees' outstanding leadership and to honor his long-standing relationship with the AEAA and Arkansas River Education Service Cooperative, an endowed scholarship was established in his name.
Graduating seniors at an Arkansas River Education Service Cooperative (ARESC)-member school who intend to pursue a career in public education are encouraged to apply for the $5000 scholarship. The scholarship can be found here and is due on on April 30, 2024.
TEL-AR SCHOLARSHIP
The Technology Educators Leaders of Arkansas (TEL-AR) seeks to promote continued education by offering scholarships to deserving students in recognition of their leadership, achievement, and civic participation. TEL-AR awards up to four (4) scholarships annually in the amount of $750 on the Scholarship Committee’s evaluation of selection criteria.
A graduating high school senior, whose parent or grandparent is a current member of TEL-AR, planning to attend a college or university, a vo-tech, or trade school is eligible to apply. To be considered, students must have a 3.0 G.P.A. or better and at least a 19 on the ACT.

THE NATIONAL SCHOOL PLANT MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION (NSPMA) - SCHOLARSHIP
The National School Plant Management Association (NSPMA) seeks to assist qualified students who are continuing their education by offering scholarships to those pursuing a Technical/Trade Certification, Associates or Bachelor of Facilities/Engineering degree.
Any graduating high school senior, college freshman, sophomore, or junior is eligible to apply for a scholarship. The total number of scholarship awards is based on available funding capabilities of the NSPMA Scholarship Trust Fund. Awards are based on the selection criteria of: financial need, academic achievement, co-curricular participation, community service, and essay response. Individual scholarships may range from $500 up to $1,500 depending on the candidate’s interest, evaluation results, and recommendation from the NSPMA Scholarship Committee.
