Statement on Governor Wolf's "Plan for Pennsylvania" and the Phased Reopening

As of May 1, 2020

Resources for Pennsylvanians and the phased reopening can be found on Governor Wolf's website, www.governor.pa.gov. There, you will find information relating to the statewide response to COVID-19 as well as Governor Wolf's Plan for Pennsylvania. We encourage you to check that website regularly for updated information for your business, profession or occupation.

FAQs for businesses operating during the COVID-19 disaster emergency can be found  at https://www.governor.pa.gov/covid-19/business-faq/.

BPOA would also like to take this opportunity to refer you to the Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) website. Here you will find answers to frequently asked questions, including which businesses have been deemed life-sustaining by the Governor, along with other guidance for businesses.

As a governmental agency, the activities of BPOA's Boards and Commissions are limited to only those activities authorized by their respective enabling statutes. As such, the Boards and Commissions unfortunately are not authorized to give advisory opinions or otherwise approve or disapprove of any specific conduct. If you need further guidance or interpretation of the phased re-opening process, we recommend that you seek counsel to assist you.

Thank you for your patience during this unprecedented public health emergency.
