Although a humble and gentle man, those who knew him at home, work, or in the community know that he was a force to be reckoned with and one whom you could count on in every way. He conceived of and founded Noble Oil Services – starting with one man, one truck and one shirt.
Through tireless dedication, ethics, service, creativity and dependability he built the company into an industry leader with more than 200 employees. Jim was a man of faith and was compassionate, kind, generous, smart and steady. He worked side by side with the employees of the company. The old adage of his door was always open was in his case a truth. He often reminded his colleagues that he was also an employee of Noble Oil Services and that he, too, had a job to do. And he did it with passion. Noble was appreciative of his customers and fellow employees – when he said, “I appreciate you,” you knew then and know now he meant it.
Lest you think his passion, commitment and joy was limited to work let us be clear, Jim Noble was dedicated to his work and his community, but family was always at the core his family and your family. In his case his family consisted of those he loved unconditionally and with abandon. He and Carol Ann married their best friends - each other. And in that instant - in that moment Jim became a "Bonus Dad" and everyone was blessed.
And Faith was the glue that bound it all together .
Mr. Noble was predeceased by his mother, Joanne Speach Noble and his sister, Janet Noble Hauser. He leaves to cherish his memory and continue the legacy he began, his beloved wife, Carol Anne Noble; his children, Madison Noble and Emily Noble (and first born Noble Oil Services). He is survived by his father, Joseph Noble; brother, Ridge Noble and his wife, Dorina, and their children Denise and Josh Noble; one aunt, Marilyn Sloane and two uncles, Vincent Speach and Jack Speach. And of course his sidekick, the Boxer Bulldog, Tillman.
As much as he appreciated all of those around him – we pray he knows just how much we appreciated him …. And will miss him.
