OMRO (WLUK) -- A grill fundraiser Made A Difference Wednesday in Omro.

It was put together by the students of Ryan Weber, a technology education teacher at Omro High School.

The grill was made this year. The students and Weber wanted to give back to the community.

The grill was raffled off for $10,000 to a nonprofit organization supporting veterans, called Mission 22.

Weber says the grill -- its lid features a model of the aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford -- reflects the art, manufacturing and overall class he teaches.

"This was probably one of the most complicated ones that we've done," he said. "It required a lot of drawing, a lot of math, a lot of scaling. And we have bumps in the road on this and they were able to overcome that and create something so dynamic and that's by favorite part."

The fundraiser has been going on since 2016.
