School District 'Meets Expectations' on newly-released DPI report card

The Rice Lake Area School District heard results of the school and districtwide report cards issued recently by the state Department of Public Instruction and approved the 2023-24 school calendar among other business at its Monday evening meeting.

Director of Learning Marsha Scherz gave the presentation on the report cards. She said, “The overall goal of Wisconsin’s accountability system is to help identify areas of strength to build upon and deepen, as well as to pinpoint areas needing improvement so that all students graduate from high school ready for their next step.”
