OSHKOSH (WLUK) -- Students in special education programs in the Oshkosh Area School District have a new way to gain work experience.
The district unveiled its Brewing Futures Mobile CAFE (Coaching Ability For Employment) Tuesday at a ribbon cutting ceremony.
The food truck is an addition to the two cafés inside the high schools.
Students will make and sell hot drinks as well as prepackaged food inside the mobile café.
The district says it's a great way for special education students to showcase their skills to the community.
"It just takes small tweaking and they take off and they show us just how amazing they are. And not everyone is skilled in understanding that's what they need, so we can get that started, get them comfortable and then have the community understand that that's all that took," said the district's transition coordinator, Mary Beth Connors.
You can check them out on social media to find the mobile café's schedule and location.
