A pair of schools in Cudahy are at risk of closing their doors. It comes as the district says it needs more money for facility repairs.A committee has laid out several proposals to fix the gap. Many include the closing of J.E. Jones Elementary School. Cudahy Middle School is also a possible candidate to close. A survey asks voters if they'd be willing to foot a higher tax bill to pay for the repairs.In a statement, the president of the Cudahy School Board said, "The school board is committed to partnering with the community, to make the decisions that support our children the best way possible."
