LAKE MILLS — Students and staff across southern Wisconsin filled McFarland High School in early March to attend the Youth Unity Summit, with the goal of learning about love and hate through conversations and activities.

Eight students from Lake Mills High School were included among over 350 participants from 22 regional school districts. At a school board meeting on April 15, students and staff shared their experiences at the summit organized by nonpartisan and nonprofit group We Are Many — United Against Hate.
