The Cadott School District, and each school within the district, were ranked in the “exceeds expectations” category on the DPI school report cards.

“I am excited to share this news,” said district administrator Jenny Starck. “This has been a focus point of the Cadott School District since I began working here.”

Four weighted priority areas go into the score – achievement, growth, target group outcomes and on-track graduation.

The overall score for the district, K4-12, is 74.8; the elementary school got a score of 73.2; the junior high scored 74.3; and the high school scored 73.1.

Starck says staff has worked hard, staying focused on improvement and the annual scorecard reports.

“We have also provided training on a specific continuous improvement process used in schools,” said Starck. “We are working to be really consistent and leveraging high-impact strategies.”

Starck says the work and training supported by the RPIC grant has also played a role, as students with economic disadvantage and disabilities are closing the gap in some areas.
