The School District of Milton’s new pool will be easily recognized once it’s constructed.
District Director of Building and Grounds Steve Schantz says it’s all thanks to a donation from the Friends of the Milton Pool.
Schantz says the group recently presented the district with a check for $12,000 – enough to put a down payment on the new signage.
Schantz says about six months ago the group donated $45,000 – enough to increase the seating capacity at the pool from 450 to 550 people.
