We’re delighted to support VisitEngland’s ‘We’re Good To Go’ campaign, as part of our ongoing package of reopening assistance for the sector.
The new industry standard and consumer mark, which has been developed in partnership with Tourism Northern Ireland, VisitScotland and Visit Wales to ensure a standard-led approach across the UK, provides a ‘ring of confidence’ for tourism as the sector works towards reopening. It allows organisations to demonstrate they are adhering to the Government’s and public health guidance.
As part of the criteria for our recently enhanced professional AIM Secure accreditation – we recommend that venues achieve the consumer-facing ‘We’re Good To Go’ standard as acknowledgement of your preparedness for re-opening.
It is imperative that we as an industry meticulously plan and play our part in actively demonstrating the high standards of compliance and hygiene in which we operate to rebuild consumer confidence.
This latest initiative is just part of a whole host of activities that we have put in place to assist the industry with its reopening preparations.
In addition to enhancing AIM to include a number of vital infection prevention and control protocols and offering contract guidance, our Roadmap to reopening and operating safely has been signposted as a key resource in both the Government’s ‘Visitor Economy Guidance’ as well as UK Hospitality’s COVID-Secure advice for the hospitality industry.
Before receiving certification and the ‘We’re Good To Go’ mark for display in both your premises and marketing materials, you will need to have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment and checked that you have the required processes in place ahead of completing the self-assessment.
