Making an Impact

Supporting Medical and Health Professions Programs

As a non-profit organization, Aquifer is proud to support faculty, students, and the health professions education community as a whole by enabling access to our trusted online clinical teaching and learning tools through the many challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Current Response

As the pandemic stretched on, Aquifer continued supporting medical and health professions programs by offsetting the cost of accessing our full course library through June 30, 2021, by awarding grant funding.

From Our Programs

“Aquifer has been extremely supportive and a great partner. We have used Aquifer to its maximum during this time. We have used Aquifer to create new electives (using solely Aquifer content) and to add to the content of newly established coursework and virtual clerkships. We have begun using Aquifer for our M1 class to continue to build out specific clinical content when we are not able to assess in our simulation center. We have used the cases not only as content but also as a means for assessment and feedback.”

Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine

“Aquifer is mission-critical to the roll of our curriculum during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are currently redesigning the 3rd year and will vastly increase our use of Aquifer to make up for decreased clinical and didactic capacity. We appreciate the significant level of support Aquifer has provided.”

Frank H Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University

“Aquifer has filled a huge gap and lessened the workload of our faculty and preceptors. We use the cases as a framework for our students to practice staffing via Zoom. Having the cases already created and available allowed us to integrate some of our key preceptors quickly. The preceptors are excited to incorporate Aquifer into their clinical setting with our students once they return to their sites, especially if patient volume remains low.”
